INDERPAUL SANDHU

INDERPAUL SANDHU

An artist with many different flavours to him. From folk to old school hip hop the man don’t let up. H is most recent single ‘Money Aint A Thing’ was not only given ‘Track Of The Week’ by The BBC Asian Network but also ‘Track Of The Month’ by BBC London Radio before Spotify officially playlisted it.
Before this his EP the #iPaulEP which won the UCB Undiscovered competition, had him performing at festivals up and down the country alongside other acts like Michelle Williams and Mary Mary. The man just can’t stay still. His effortless humour on stage is guaranteed to make the sternest of faces crack with laughter, along with his ridiculous and infectious energy, everyone is bound to have fun and get involved when InderPaul’s in the house.
InderPaul’s own words below about himself. ‘I remember being a little kid watching a talent show on tv with my god family and we saw this little white kid sing ‘puppy love’ everyone in the room was in awe. I said I wish I could do that and my god mother replied me ‘why cant you?’ I replied her ‘because i’m indian’ she told me that talent didn’t have any colour. It was many years before I truly believed that. That story amazes me to this day at the tender age of 10 I had allowed society and the likes to shape my view of who I can be and who I can’t be which is complete nonsense. The calling wired in my dna surpasses any stereotype or box that is placed on me. I know I aint the only little indian kid that had that kind of thought and I wanna be the voice that fights and challenges those kinda thoughts just like my godmothers words did.’
