MC Chickaboo

MC Chickaboo started out in Birmingham in 1992 with DJ GE Real working at some of the biggest raves such as Fantasia, Dreamscape and Jungle Fever. Whilst working in the electronic music scene Chickaboo MC’d with DJ’s & producers including DJ Dazee, DJ Craze, Jumpin Jack Frost, DJ Storm, DJ Bailey, Goldie and Afrika Bambaata. 1998 she had a Live-mix CD release with DJ Wildchild, an exciting female DJ on London’s infamous Kool FM.

Neil Fearnley

I started getting into music thanks to series of successful parties local in my town when I was 14 years old. This was the early 1980s and the music then was soul and funk. Listening to some of the greats of the time in a small venue in the home counties.
Still at 14 I bought my first set of Technics SL1200 MK 1’s and began my journey in to DJing.

Big Funk Factory

The culmination of Twenty Years recording albums and playing live.  The BFF was created by Andy Wood Mitchell.  The concept of a band existing in it’s own universe with accompanying Stories D-roid Portrait of a Serial Singer and Transaction Declined and the final part of the Trilogy coming this year Bucee Ball.  Each album being the soundtrack to their reflective parts in the ongoing saga.

Ashley Beedle

Referenced in Daft Punk’s song as one of the ‘Teachers’, Ashley Beedle first began DJing during the 1980s and made a name for himself during the heyday of Acid House. After hearing Norman Jay on the pirate radio station KISS FM, he became more interested in deep disco and in the early 1990s, he teamed up with Rob Mello and John Howard to form the first incarnation of the Black Science Orchestra, signed to the legendary dance label, Junior Boys Own.
