Ali started Djing back in the early 80’s with his then DJ partner and still best mate Brandon Block, whilst the pair were playing Jazz funk and soul and Hip hop , the pair were still doing gigs together until the acid house era arrived, Brandon went off into clubs playing Acid House, whilst Ali went off into pirate radio, and landed shows on two very popular London stations Medina Radio & girls FM.

Soul Much

Kicking off their career with a signing to Get Twisted Records it was clear this UK duo had the right focus in carving out a place on the Soulful House scene. The sound SoulMuch have been chasing is an educated one, following the likes of Spen, Kerri Chandler & Quentin Harris

Ashley Beedle

Referenced in Daft Punk’s song as one of the ‘Teachers’, Ashley Beedle first began DJing during the 1980s and made a name for himself during the heyday of Acid House. After hearing Norman Jay on the pirate radio station KISS FM, he became more interested in deep disco and in the early 1990s, he teamed up with Rob Mello and John Howard to form the first incarnation of the Black Science Orchestra, signed to the legendary dance label, Junior Boys Own.

Big Funk Factory

The culmination of Twenty Years recording albums and playing live.  The BFF was created by Andy Wood Mitchell.  The concept of a band existing in it’s own universe with accompanying Stories D-roid Portrait of a Serial Singer and Transaction Declined and the final part of the Trilogy coming this year Bucee Ball.  Each album being the soundtrack to their reflective parts in the ongoing saga.

MC Chickaboo

MC Chickaboo started out in Birmingham in 1992 with DJ GE Real working at some of the biggest raves such as Fantasia, Dreamscape and Jungle Fever. Whilst working in the electronic music scene Chickaboo MC’d with DJ’s & producers including DJ Dazee, DJ Craze, Jumpin Jack Frost, DJ Storm, DJ Bailey, Goldie and Afrika Bambaata. 1998 she had a Live-mix CD release with DJ Wildchild, an exciting female DJ on London’s infamous Kool FM.
